Defect Display Board at the Laundromat

Let me say at the outset that all growing up, I had always equated a laundromat with the dry cleaners. But, apparently, they are different things. But, I’m just going to continue to pretend they are the same thing, mainly because it’s easier for me to remember and that my interaction with either a laundromat or at the dry cleaners is so few and far between, that I don’t need to expend any energy trying to distinguish between the two.

At a recent visit to the Laundromat (or Dry Cleaners), I was impressed to see a nice defect display board, showing all the items past customers have left in their clothes and were consequently cleaned at the dry cleaners (or laundromat).

In general, the sign is a good reminder for customers to check their clothes pockets before taking their laundry to the dry cleaners. Otherwise, what you forget in your pocket could end up in the defect display board above.
