hmm…some other numbers don’t seem quite right …
For instance, 10.1e9 pounds of cheese valued at $14e9 makes for $1.39/lb. OK, MCD gets a great discount for good reasons. However, by the same math, the 26.1e9 lbs of beef, valued at 2.2e9 means that MCD buys hamburger at $0.08/lb. Wow, that’s hard to be believe. Similarly, this chart says that onions cost 2.1 times more per pound than lettuce. Really?
